Zora the hooker

What began as an investigation into the feminist and philosophical nature of pole dancing derailed into a passion for Pole Heels and the desire to start a queer pole dancing community in Brussels together with the other JEZEBEL’s.

The Hooker, because Zora hand crochets her costumes as a critique on fast fashion and as a feminist tool. Just because crocheting is limited to a restrictive idea of femininity, it in turn allows her to challenge the restrictions of femininity and masculinity. Her aesthetic is cute, but also sexy; absurd, but also kinky.

Zora organises monthly Hooking Clubs. A day at the studio of coming together, dancing, practicing for future performances and meanwhile making constumes adapted to the performances.
