Although Mathilde (she/they) previously had a negative association with anything related to sports and exercise, pole dancing changed that. They started pole dancing in 2019 with "the physical strength of a bag of potatoes" - as they put it - and chronic back pain. But it very quickly grew into one of the most important aspects of her life and she advocates that truly anyone can pole dance. Because if they can do it, anyone can!
Fascinated by fluidity, Mathilde continuously explores how to move the body along and around a pole in one fluid movement. Pole dancing also awakened her sensuality and connection with her own body.
